Adoption of Zero Trust Access for UNIQCloud Users
UNIQCloud is implementing Zero Trust Access to secure admin entry points. Under this model, every access request—whether to the UNIQCloud UI for workload management,SSH Access or access to Openstack APIs for programmatic interactions (CLI, Infrastructure as Code)—will require strict authentication and authorization before access is granted.
One of the features of this new approach is the ability to securely connect to UNIQCloud without the need for VPNs or complex firewall configurations. Users can access the platform from anywhere, at any time, while still benefiting from security measures.
Use Cases: Secure access to UNIQCloud’s web UI, APIs, SSH, internal websites, and third-party integrations—all enforced via identity-based authentication and granular authorization policies.
Benefits:
Stronger Security: Every access request is continuously authenticated and authorized, reducing the risk of unauthorized access and lateral movement in the cloud.
Simplified Access: Eliminates the need for VPNs and complex firewall rules, providing direct, seamless access to resources for users and admins.
Compliance & Auditing: Granular access controls and detailed logging ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security policies.
